PRESS RELEASE 1-20-04 Echota Records releases first Compilation CD
Hello,
My name is Ed Gowens. I am the president of Echota Records USA. Our record label is only about four months old, but we have some fantastic talent signed with us. We are proud to announce the release of our first Compilation CD. It will be available by the middle of the Feb.,2004. On this first one, we are featuring only our own artists. We specialize in Original Traditional Country, Bluegrass and Country/Gospel music. Some of the artists includes: James Maddox, who already has several songs being played by radio stations around the world. One of his songs, "You're Still The Man In Black" ,a tribute song to the great Johnny Cash, was recorded on the eve of Johnny Cash's death, and has been played on radio stations in New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain, Canada and the USA. James' name is on the TKO charts. His new release on this Compilation CD is called "Empty Rooms" We believe this song will do well on the charts also.
Some of the other Artists on this CD are Amber Lee, (if you like a Patsy Cline type of sound, you will love this girl) also, Barry Rayburn, Rick Woods and the Woods family, Tim Hicks, The first Street Band, Calvin Gazaway, Missy Thomas-Schmit and the Comedy of R.W.
